Plot Application and Renewal

New Gardener Application for a Plot

Garden plots are assigned year around. The busiest time period is prior to the start of the season between December and May. The GCGC Membership Coordinator works with the Garden Coordinators to determine available plots, show prospective gardeners on the Waitlist new plots, and assign plots.

You must be a Greenbelt resident to apply for or hold a plot, and have read and agreed to abide by the Garden Rules.

Plots are allocated on a first-come, first serve basis from the Waitlist. All plot assignments are made through the waitlist to ensure a fair and transparent process for prospective gardeners. Plots cannot be reserved and are non-transferable

Apply by clicking the button below and completing the online application form. After applying, you will receive an automatic notification acknowledging receipt. All new applications will be reviewed by the membership coordinator.

Annual Renewal Application for Returning and First Time Plot Holders

Returning Plot Holders and new First Time Plot Holders must complete an annual application and pay plot dues. All plot holder applications and payment are due 30 days after the Annual Meeting, which is usually held in either February or March. Contact your garden coordinator with questions, and to arrange payment if needed. After the 30-day period you will lose your plot and be assigned to the wait list.

Request for Plot Change

If you are a current member and wish to move to a different plot, submit a request for plot change application and let your garden coordinator know as soon as possible. Your application will be reviewed and processed separately from the waitlist.
